by J. Peter Grace

This is an amazing retrospective that dates back to 1984 when multi-millionaire J. Peter Grace wrote this book after being Chairman of President Reagans Private Sector Survey on Cost Control, which was a report and expose` published with over 700 pages of documented and dramatic detail and was a projection of the waste, mismanagement and inefficiency that goes on every day in our government.

Years ago the late US Senator Everett Dirksen said; “a billion here, a billion there, pretty soon we’re talking about real money.” Over forty years later we have to admit, nothing has changed, has it? The fact is, no one in the leadership ranks of our government knows what “real money” is, and none of them seem to care.

Thirty years ago Mr. Grace was asked if the problem is really as bad as it sounds. His reply, “worse.”

Here is a very interesting note from the book. Back in the 1980’s Mr. Grace projected that our national debt would reach $2,000,000,000,000 (2 Trillion) by the year 2000. Here we are in 2016 and the figure is rapidly approaching $20,000,000,000,000 (20 TRILLION) ten  times that number.

This 193 page paperback was originally distributed by the Citizens Against Government Waste to expose how the Federal government is Burning Money, your money. It is as current as to the outrageous spending of the government today as it was when it was first published. This book gives you ammunition to question your elected officials about their spending of your money at all levels of government.

WHY TERM LIMITS, Because They Have It Coming

by John Armor

Were elected government offices meant to be held for 20, 30, 40 years of more. The answer is absolutely not and our founding fathers made a point of frowning upon such an egregious outcome. This book was originally distributed by the Citizens Against Government Waste twenty years ago to detail the full story of why the effort to limit the terms of officeholders from local communities to the U.S. Congress was relevant then, and is still relevant now, if not more so. These insightful pages will reveal David vs. Goliath stories of many victories of the term limitation movement as well as; the problem of careerism in Congress; the views of America’s Founders on permanent officeholders; the arguments for and against term limits; strategy and tactics for supporters; the role of big money special interests in trying to stop term limits, and much more.

This book will educate you on this important issue and give you the expertise to take your case to anyone anywhere and make a winnable argument.

This 158 page book was written and distributed in order to highlight what had become an obvious blight on the process of electing citizen representatives to our government.

It is even more current and in need today than it was when published because not only are today’s elected officials at levels of national, state and local officeholders decrying the wish of our founders, but through gerrymandering and super majority legislative bodies they are making life long careers of their positions,

These two books were published to retail at $9.95 and $2.95 and while they were published years ago, they are as stated – more relevant today than they were at that time. Your Independent Party has a limited supply of both books and we are offering them at a package price of $4.95 for both plus $3.99 S&H
